Full-Stack Developer — React & Node.js
Bivoxo is hiring a senior full-stack developer. Own the full engineering cycle — from clean component architecture to robust backend APIs — across multiple high-stakes client products running in production.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship production features end-to-end across the stack — from React/Next.js interfaces to Node.js/Express APIs — for multiple live client products at once.
- Design clean, reusable component architecture that other engineers can build on without fighting your code six months from now.
- Design and implement REST/GraphQL APIs backed by PostgreSQL, built to handle real production load, not demo-day traffic.
- Review PRs, pair with teammates, and hold the line on code quality across every client codebase you touch.
- Work directly with clients and internal leads to scope features, flag risk early, and keep delivery timelines honest.
- Own performance: diagnose slow queries, bloated bundles, and janky UI, then fix them.
- Deploy and monitor on AWS, catching issues before the client does.
Ship Production Code Across Real Client Products, From Day One
We're a small, senior-heavy team building AI-native web products for ambitious clients, which means you won't be buried in process or lost in a 40-person engineering org. Your code reaches production fast, your decisions carry weight, and your growth is tied to what you ship — not to how long you've been in the seat.
Requirements:
- 3+ years building production web applications with React (or Next.js) and Node.js.
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, REST or GraphQL API design, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Comfortable owning a feature end-to-end — no hand-off culture, no "that's not my layer."
- Experience deploying and debugging applications in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
- A track record of shipping to real users, not just personal projects or bootcamp portfolios.
- Clear written communication — you'll work directly with clients and a distributed team.
- Bonus: experience integrating AI/LLM features (OpenAI API, RAG pipelines, etc.) into a product.
